ORDER signs on CS:GO roster from Renegades - returning the squad to its OCE roots
ORDER has signed on Renegade’s CS:GO roster in a move that puts ORDER in the global spotlight. The roster, consisting of Jordan "Hatz" Bajic, Jay “Liazz” Tregillgas, Alistair "aliStair" Johnston, Simon "Sico" Williams, Joshua "INS" Potter, coach David "Kingfisher" Kingsford, and manager Will “MrGrayhound” Gray will compete under the ORDER banner starting with the ESL Pro League Conference in Sweden later this month.
A historic moment for OCE esports, ORDER will be welcoming back an entire roster of players that have represented them in previous years.
This move is set to place the Melbourne-based ORDER on the international stage - with the former Renegades roster having competed in all majors since 2020 including most recently at the PGL Major Antwerp 2022.
Looking closer to home, ORDER intends to dominate CS:GO in the APAC region and along with its recently remodelled esports program will leverage its performance staff, new Alienware training facility, and strong leadership team to set the standard across the region.
“CSGO has always been in our DNA. We love the game and we continue to support it in every way. The acquisition of the top-performing Australian roster will see ORDER fight it out on an international level consistently. This group of players have seen the advancement of the ORDER infrastructure and Esports Program and are eager to get to work and represent us and an Australian Brand” said ORDER Chief Gaming Officer Chris Orfanellis.
When asked about the move, team manager William Gray said “I had always been in competition with ORDER back in the Grayhound days which had given me a unique perspective, appreciation and respect for them in being able to successfully navigate our corner of the world and make their way to the top in competition, structure and support.”
He continued, “It's been a long journey from then to now and it's been awesome to see them continue to grow from strength to strength to the point where it stands the tallest. There's a reason every single player had once played under this banner, and for all of us, an even better reason to come back. An Aussie team (sorry Sico) returning to an Aussie organisation... there's just no place like home.”
This is the first time an entire roster who previously played under ORDER has returned to the team.
“ORDER has a strong history of providing a pathway to Oceanic professionals to perform at the highest level across North America and Europe, and while this often means saying goodbye to star players, the opportunity to welcome back an entire roster of former players is a really exciting moment for everyone involved,” said ORDER Chief Executive Officer Marc Edwards.
“The roster is well known and respected amongst our esports peers and we intend to do everything possible to support the players to achieve their goals. With the challenges of the last two years behind us, the team will be able to more freely and regularly compete alongside the best in the world, and we have no doubt this will result in the ability to go deeper in international tournaments, climb the HLTV rankings, and provide the entire Oceanic esports community with a team they are proud to support.” continued Edwards.
Founded in 2017, ORDER has forged a reputation as the leading esports organisation in Australia. After years of high-performance, they’ve become world-renowned in the CS:GO, Valorant, League of Legends, and FIFA scenes. As the electronic gaming sector matures, ORDER is rapidly expanding into the digital content and entertainment space - while still being firmly rooted in esports. ORDER is firmly geared towards expansion and growth and leads the Oceanic region across performance, welfare and administrative support to its playing group. ORDER is currently supported by brand partners Logitech G, Alienware, Optus, RMIT and The Man Cave.
